NEDI provides training for women and youth in Entrepreneurship Skills Development to build their competences in managing their businesses. The purpose is to enhance the skills of the beneficiaries develop entrepreneurial culture to be able to establish business at not on the informal level, but beyond.
NEDI training programmes are normally decentralized, in which participants are selected from the various regions/municipalities through Local Government Authorities like Governors, Area or Municipal Councils. Pre-training assessment is done to select training beneficiaries. This is an integral component of NEDI Entrepreneurship Skills Development Component now, because information generated from the assessment contributes great extent training proper.
